About the Role

We are recruiting a Permanent Part time Service Manager for Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney.

Responsibilities:

Hybrid role involving administration, supervision and support hours.
updating all the participants yearly documents when required.
Supervise site operational activities, including client service delivery, site safety, customer care and safeguarding, site inventory and issue management.
Support the financial performance of the home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
Provide support to clients aligned to their personal plans, goals and any other requirements.
Supervision of a small team on a rotating roster to maintain effective site operations and resolve issues.
Ensure team member awareness of individual client’s requirements.
Be actively present in the home environment, providing role modelling to staff.
Oversee and participate in the planning and implementation of therapeutic care plans.
Deliver and encourage others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.
Medication Management and Behaviour Support supervision and monitoring.
Ensure all the client’s assessments are up to date and the organisation is compliant in-service delivery as per NDIS quality and safeguard commission.
Ensure the Monthly reports have been completed.
Providing clients with additional support where required, such as diabetes management, Epilepsy management (where appropriate training has been provided)
Assist with participant’s physical and mobility requirements in accordance with the training provided and the relevant workplace health and safety standard, including transferring of participants.
Report writing for NDIS plan reviews and assisting with the review process.
Assisting in continuous improvement of the policies and documents related to client’s care needs.
Ensure continuous smooth service delivery for the clients throughout and assist with problem solving and completing all the requested tasks from the management.
Eligibility:

Minimum diploma in community services or with 3 years management industry experience.

Demonstrated ability in assisting vulnerable people to identify goals and in assisting them to make the necessary choices and decisions to achieve these goals.
Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Framework or the ability to develop.
Demonstrated understanding of disability services provision and NDIS or the ability to develop.
Ability to supervise the site operations and deliver services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
Experience within residential services support for people with disability.
Experience with supervising and coordinating after hours and on-call care.
Ability to apply initiative and judgement in planning and organising work, escalating as required.
Ability to manage conflict whilst remaining calm and alert.
Ability to coordinate delegated activities to meet outcomes within required timeframes.
Flexible and is able to work under pressure
